Q:

Why store immune cells?

A:

As we age, our immunity decreases and the risk of disease increases. If we can store better immune cells as early as possible, we can strengthen our immunity in time when needed in the future.

Q:

Who cannot save:

A:

People with HIV, tuberculosis, syphilis, COVID-19.

Q:

What can stored immune cells do?

A:

It can be used to treat cancer, prevention of cancer and treatment of infectious diseases. Future indications will only increase. (need to discuss with the attending doctor).

What is IKC®

Q:

What is IKC®?

A:

IKC® is autologous Immune Killer Cell, which is expanded and cultured by extracting lymphocytes from the human body, and then re-infused into the body to promote the strengthening of the immune system.

Q:

How long is the IKC® culture time?

A:

Generally, it takes 14 days for cultivation and expansion, but it will vary depending on individual circumstances.

Q:

How long does the infusion take?

A:

The infusion time is usually between 30-60 minutes.

Q:

Are there any side effects from receiving IKC®?

A:

Some patients may experience a self-containing light fever which usually will not last more than 8 hours. This reaction is actually beneficial (fevers can activate the immune system fortifying it for action).

Q:

Precautions the day before having your blood drawn

A:

Get plenty of sleep the night before you plan to donate
Drink extra water (400-500 ml) and avoid alcohol

Q:

When IKC® is cultured, will cancer cells be cultured?

A:

The blood we draw will be separated, and the peripheral blood without impurities in the middle will be extracted for storage.
